About REX
REX Animation Film Festival was formed on the initiative of EUNIC Stockholm (European Union National Institutes for Culture). EUNIC Stockholm is the network of the European cultural institutes and embassies based in Sweden who cooperate in the development and execution of multilateral cultural projects and initiatives that take place in Sweden in partnership with Swedish organizations.

Each year, the REX Animation Film Festival delivers a varied and colorful programme of animated films for both adults and young people. We invite filmmakers from all over Europe to submit their animated creations, and then we pick the best and brightest talents to screen at our annual event in Stockholm.
