The Trollywood Animation Festival is hosted by the Trollhättan Animation Association and is supported by the Region Västra Götaland, City of Trollhättan and University West.

Our goals:

• To bring together people interested in animation or already inside the business.
• To create an inspiring and friendly atmosphere that facilitates the sharing of knowledge and technology, and in creates a good environment to do business in.
• To highlight and grow the local animation industry. In Trollhättan there are unique conditions for this: the film tradition is strong, the university educates students in animation and Trollhättans Stad has invested in creative industries over a long period of time.

The Trollywood Animation Festival has been run annually since 2016, except for 2020 when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out in Sweden.
