Sandra Pilny-Lockertsen works full time with storyboarding for live action and animated films, and in illustration. She holds a degree in visual communications with a focus on animation, and has studied at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Germany, the Edinburgh Collage of Art in Scotland, and at Rutgers, USA.
Sandra has worked in the Norwegian film industry since 2005. Her vast portfolio includes storyboards for live action feature films (Bølgen/The wave), tv-series (Lillyhammer) and commercials, such as Why Can’t We Be Friends. In the antimated feature film Elias og storegaps hemmlighet she was head of story for Animando and in Hokus pokus Albert Åberg she worked with character and set design.
Her most recent work in storyboarding, the children’s feature Operasjon Mørkemann, detektivbyrå 2, which is currently hitting cinemas, whilst disaster film The Quake will be released in 2018.
Sandra is currently head of story for Kaptain Sabeltann og den magiske diamanten.
Since 2007, Sandra has taught storyboarding in Norwegian and Swedish film schools.
