About:
Corentin Monnier graduated in 2016 from The Animation Workshop (Denmark) and has ever since put his focus on Story. Over the last 10 years, he has been storyboarding on multiple Scandinavian and European animated projects, ranging from TV-Series (Monster Loving Maniacs, Bad Dinosaurs), short films (Toon Blast), and Feature Films (Scrooge: A Christmas Carol, Mugge & Super Happy, Da Mumbo Jumbo blev kæmpestor, and quite a few unreleased titles), and even briefly videogames (Horizon Forbidden West – Burning Shores).

Saturday, 9 may: The path of the Storyboarder
In this presentation, I will dive into the joy and challenges of working as a Storyboarder, going through examples from my personal experience.
Storyboards are crucial in the collaborative process of animation, yet they are completely invisible to the final audience. They can be a place of freedom, allowing to explore and shape a story, as well as a riddle that feels impossible to solve within insane production constraints. It is not an easy path, but surely an exciting one!
