Nikolai Lockertsen is a renowned concept artist, illustrator, and animator based in Norway. With over 20 years of experience in the film industry, he notably served as the Lead Art Director at Storm Studios, one of Scandinavia’s premier VFX houses, for seven years.
Beyond the silver screen, Nikolai’s expertise extends to book covers, children’s literature, and commercial art for a global clientele. He is celebrated as a true pioneer of iPad art; since 2012, he has executed all his professional and personal work exclusively on the iPad using Procreate. A dedicated educator, Nikolai shares his cutting-edge techniques through online courses, art schools, and lectures across the globe.
